Melamin to reduce CYA

don't know if I can help you? It's possible to remove CYA by using melamin. Melamin is a powder which is mixed with hot (!) water and poured into the pool. Melamin absorbs CYA and can be filtered out of the water (similar to flocking-products). The amount of Melamin being needed is depending on the CYA level. Melamin is absolutely harmless.
