Today is Pebble Fina Day!

Working Under cover

It really wasn't suppose to rain until later tonight. We started the morning off with light drizzle, but it has become a heavy drizzle bordering light rain. So up with the tarps!

Yes . . .and it is a tight space. Today they started the "acid bath' phase. They suspend circulation pumps to help cure the Fina with the acid solution for a few days. The water is still a couple of inches below the true water line - and note we have a 9" waterline tile instead of the standard 6". The corner water feature is a little mini basin that will flow down the basalt wall when it gets to normal operation.

We chose to do a two tone - with the spa and shelf dark to help heat the water a bit. We located near the ocean in So Cal - so every little bit of heat helps. The is the first 'two tone' pool our builder has ever done, or seen for that matter. I'm sure there out there. It does cost a bit extra to pull it off, since they have to take the time to rinse the hopper out and re-load with the new color.

Still more work to be done - finishing the wood decks (plywood on them right now), and finishing the landscaping.

Two weeks later. Still lots of work to do to finish off . . .Wood decks, more landscaping and a few other details.
