Pool: 20x40 inground, DE filter, calculator says 30,000 gallons, two skimmers

Shallow end skimmer was ok a month ago, then slow, then gone a week ago.

Pool guy says that the hose might have collapsed in on itself, so go ahead and dig the hose up. I opened the deck and was able to get under the skimmer but don't see any problems outside so far. Thats when I got on the internet/this site. So I ...

A. Got a plunger, nada

B. Got a snake, which seemed to go in a few feet, then nada

Drain King. A hose accessory that when inserted into the suspect pipe, will inflate and seal itself, pushing water backwards thru the pipe and, hopefully, loosening any clogs.
