Hello, I got a new inground, indoor vinyl pool with a handy SWG, sand filter and pump. Also pool is heated.

I just tested my pool and the numbers are below...

FCL = HI

ECL = HI

pH = HI

ALY = 23

CH = 240

CYA = 22

The HI readings I am assuming are because my digital meter was off the chart. What should I do? Should I lower the SWG?

To test FCL and practice the methods preached here at TFP, you want to use a FAS-DPD test. Like in the TF-100 or Taylor K-2006 kit.

Get a GOOD test kit. I prefer the TF-100, it has everything I need (I also ordered the Taylor 1776 salt test) and with the optional speed stirrer testing is a breeze. I trust my results and know they're accurate.

The test kit I bought I thought was good. It has very good reviews all over google.

i spent a couple of hundred bucks on digital pool tester
only thing it got close was salt
in the bin it went
now using taylor T-2006
