Adding salt with leaf net still on

I still have the leaf net on my AGP, but I desperately need to add salt. With the leaf net still on I won't be able to circulate the salt with a brush. Will it be okay to just dump the salt in through the net? If not, any suggestions for how best to add the salt?

Should be fine, may just take a little longer to dissolve and circulate.

Make sure your SWG is off for a day after adding the salt.

It is probably best to fold back a corner of the net and pour the salt directly into the water. Unless the mesh is very open the salt might pile up on the mesh. Once done the net can be put back in place fairly easily.

Well seeing as how it's round, there isn't a corner to fold back. ;-) It's all ratcheted down, so that won't be easy and I don't have anyone here to help me if it goes haywire. The mesh is pretty open, and I think it's the fine granule pool salt so I am going to try it.

All done! It worked out fine. There were some golf-ball and smaller sized hunks left on top of the net but they were already shrinking by the time I got it all in.
