Quick question about CH

Hy Guys,
I have a vinyl pool. I've read here not to worry about the CH but Pool Calculator suggest I add 383 oz of calcium chloride. Is this necessary w a vinyl pool?

CC 0
PH 7.6
TA 100
CH 150
CYA 55 and falling

and, how do my numbers look?

PoolMath (or the old Pool Calculator) only tell you what to add based on what YOU set as the Now and the Target values. If it said that you should add CH, it is because you put a Target CH value in that was greater than your Now CH value.

You do not need to worry about CH with a vinyl liner. Everything else looks fine.

have you set the pool math targets for a vinyl pool and using TFP method?

ooops looks like we may have a bug in pool math for CH levels in vinyl pools

What bug? It says 50-300 which is reasonable (for TFP recommendations)

Yes but auto fills in 260 when vinyl pool is selected for pool type
