Calcium in Plaster Pool Refill

Last week I did a drain and fill on my 16,000g plaster pool (it needed an acid-wash and tile cleaning). I refilled it with our local tap water and the water chemistry is doing great - I'm moving to the BBB method.

The last two items I have to balance are Calcium and Borates. The Calcium is 175. I've been reading that others have waited a month before adjusting CH, but those situations were for new pools. For a refill, should I wait a month or go ahead and balance it out?

Is your signature right? Describes a different pool.

You should adjust the CH now. Also realize borates are optional.
