I have just purchased a small 4 Ltr container of floc. I noticed that the top seal was broken and when I looked at the liquid it was brown. Can anyone tell me the colour of floc I do not remember it being brown, but I have been wrong before.

Do you mind me asking why you are considering adding a floc to your pool? You can really turn things into a mess with it sometimes.

Flocculants come in many different colors. As a rule we don't recommend using flocculants or clarifiers except in very special circumstances. Why did you think you needed floc?

Most specialty liquids (i.e. flocs, algaecides, clarifiers, etc.) can be tinted by the manufacturer for different looks. With pool chemicals if you think something is wrong it is always best to go to the side of caution and return it for another bottle.
