Jandy plc1400 vs plc700

Hi folks,
So I'm planning to add SWCG to our pool this spring, we have all Jandy equipment and as I'm looking at the aqua pure plc1400, I also see they have a plc700 kit, the only difference I see is 7 vs 14 blades respectively, but I really don't understand what that means, as I don't see any sizing information on Jandy website. Can someone comment please as I don't want to spend additional money on 1400 just to realize later it's an overkill for our pool.
Our pool is not large ~ 18000gl.

The PLC1400 is rated at 40,000 gallons whereas the PLC700 is rated @ 12,000 gallons so you would need the 1400 for sure.
