New Pool, Pump, Filter Opening First Time

I had my fiberglass inground pool installed in October. It has been sitting since, full of water. Now I am ready to open it. What procedures do I need to follow opening for the first time.

I was told something about priming the pump and writing down a pressure on the filter. Can someone steer me in the right direction.

I am not new to owning a pool, but my other pool was started and going when I took over.

Some pictures of the equipment, skimmer and returns would help us figure out what state it's in.

If it was properly winterized you probably have some plugs, etc. to remove and maybe some drain plugs, etc. to put back in. Then there's the setting of the valves.

Putting a list of your equipment in your sig is a good idea. That way we know what we're dealing with.
