Polaris Zipper Bag ok in Liner Pool?

I have a Polaris pool cleaner and typically have to replace the velcro bag about once every 2 years due to the velcro getting clogged and becoming unreliable. I see that Polaris has a zipper bag but am wondering if the zipper would be ok in a liner pool.

I'll be watching this post. I have a Legend Platinum that had the same darn problem...that velcro starts clogging up almost immediately, and as much as I've brushed it, it finally wore out after less than 2 seasons.

I wouldn't worry.. liners are pretty thick and I wouldn't expect the Polaris to have enough thrust to cause a tear from the zipper.
