Zodiac V3 versus Zodiac V3 4WD versus Zodiac v4 4WD

Hi guys,
i am having trouble choosing between the Zodiac Robotic pool cleaners.
The V3 4WD is about $280 more than the basic V3 model - and the V4 4Wd is $600 more than the basic V2 model.

Does the 4WD feature make a big difference?
Is the top of the range V4 4Wd worth $600 more than the V3 and $280 more than the V3 4WD?

Prices
V3 - $999
V3 4WD $1280
V4 4WD $1599

I believe these are the same as the Polaris models.

I don't know about the comparison to Polaris models, but generally speaking, more $$$ equal more cleaning power.

Maybe someone with previous experience on these can tell you more. Good luck on your decision.
