For what it is worth - I admit I was lazy....

Thank you to the forum for all of their knowledge they provide.

I "closed" our Central Texas pool in early November (e.g. stopped swimming in it). I also stopped checking chemical balances for several month, however, I "gauged" what was needed periodically.

Thankfully after checking everything recently, all was on par.

Just a strong plug to follow the recommendations of the forum and "learn" your pool.
