Sand Filter issue with cloudy dust

I also have this problem. It doesn't always happen, just after I have backwashed the filter. Does that mean that I'm not "rinsing" the filter long enough after backwashing? I'm a noob...and clueless.

It usually happens for about 15-20 seconds after I turn the six way valve back to filter.

I had filter issues until i bought a smaller pump, imho your pump is to big, or your filter is to small.
i had 1.5 hp whisperflow [18psi] on a 300lb filter, problems. 1 hp whisperflow [10psi] no more problems.
