I had a question on manually operating the the SWG. Currently, I have a breaker box by the pool equipment pad that has a 220 breaker going to the pump and another 220 breaker going to the SWG. When I have been doing is turning both of them off and on with the breaker (not so much on the SWG during the cold months).

Should I be powering the SWG off and on with the breaker of should I just leave it on all the time? I do have a flow control on it and its a Hayward Aquarite with a TurboCell T-15.

Thanks

The SWG should only get power when the pump is on. So you should rub the pump and SWG off the same breaker ... that is the correct and safe way to wire it.

The flow switch should be considered more of a back up safety switch.
