spas using stenner or liquidator

Am thinking about auto-chlorinate system to lessen daily FC checks.

Is SWC currently the favorite for use with spas?

I have a 650 gal system with ozonator.

It gets maybe 4 person/hours usage per week (in winter), 1/2 that or less in summer.

An SWG such as the ControlOMatic TechniChlor is an easy way to maintain a chlorine level in between soaks. If you soak for a longer time or with multiple people, then you'll likely need to add some chlorine manually after your soak since the "boost" mode of the SWG may not be enough. Note that the higher 2000 ppm salt level might void some spa warranties -- not all spas are made with the higher quality stainless steel and other components (e.g. cupro-nickel or titanium heat exchangers vs. copper) that are more resistant to metal corrosion in the presence of salt.

Others use bromine tabs in a floating dispenser or feeder, though obviously that turns the spa into a bromine spa.
