After several years with high TA readings, I decided to lower it by reducing PH and aerating, as described on this forum - and it worked perfectly!

I also added salt to my pool after reading about it here; and my wife, who is somewhat of a skeptic, loved it, saving our marriage. (OK...I'm exaggerating, we have a great marriage; but she and the kids do love the way the water "feels" now.)
