Using old acid ok?

I have some older dry acid from Leslie's; it is probably rockhard, haven't opened up it feels that way. I assume it is still okay to try to use it/ it has kept its potency reasonably well? I will just chip it up into pieces and the conservative/undershoot, and where appropriate protective clothing and eyeglasses

If the plastic pail isn't too dry rotted you can always drop the pail on the ground a few times to loosen the dry acid. Should be fine to use.

I would cut my losses, get rid of it and not hassle with chopping or putting it in. How are you planning on keeping it from going to the bottom if it dissolves slowly?
