Not sure where to post...batteries in pool?

Just a quick question. I was interested in buying one of those balls you put in the pool that has lights all over it, but was sort of worried about battery leakage in the pool. Is that a problem with that type of stuff?

I also was going to buy a Pool Buster Max and that also runs on a battery. What do you all think of battery operated stuff in your pool? Just curious because like I said, I am worried about leakage from it.

Thanks!

You don't want to leave a battery sitting soaking in the pool water. Those devices should have a waterproof battery compartment. If the battery compartment is filling up with water you shouldn't use them. So long as the batteries are staying relatively dry, or just fall in the water for a minute there is no problem.
