With a hose, or from a water truck? I filled my pool (approx 27k) gallons with 3 trucks, each of which took about 45 minutes to empty. I was then able to bring the water level up 2 more inches with my hose (strong pressure) in about 4 hrs.
Is there a cost savings usually with a water truck as opposed to own tap? I saw a pool water truck on road today and figured must be a discount or why would you use them. Aside from time issue to fill
Depends on where you live. Some places yes, some no.
Another big driver of trucked in water is what's in the fill water. People with wells that just can't keep up, wells with high iron content, or fill water high in calcium can necesitate trucked in water.

Right now, my plan is half and half. Not cheap here, but afraid my well maight pump off. Plus, I havent located better water by truck either.
For me 18k was $600 trucked in or less than $75 with my hose on city water. PB said no brainer use the hose.

At 25 GPM it will be full in 12 hours. You likely have much less than that, but you never know until you measure.
