About a year into having our pool installed I am seeing a white powder buildup on the top of the ring of Luedersstone coping around our fire pit. It's on the inner half of that circle, above the fire bricks. I'm guessing that salts are migrating up from the bricks through the Luederstone and forming on the top. There is no issue with the Luederstone coping around a nearby planter or the pool coping. Is there anything I can do to rectify this? -Pete

Without a pic, it's pure guesswork as to the cause. Muriatic acid will surely clean it up but won't solve the cause.
