Hi forum members. I am an engineering student at Lehigh University. I am currently in a product development class in which our professor assigned us to create a solution to skimming pools. We decided to develop a solution to improve the manual pool skimmer/leaf rake.
My main question to the members of this forum is that, for those who use manual skimmers, what are some of the biggest problems with current skimmers on the market and what features would you like to see?
We are currently prototyping a product that floats in the pool and can be effortlessly guided across the pool by the user. Any input on this idea would be greatly appreciated.
