New Pool Build

Hi all

New to this forum and also to pool ownership. We are in the early stage of IG buildup the following are the specs. 15X30 with 10X8 beach area 5 1/2 feet deep no water falls and spas we have 4 deck jets we are in the south Miami are. We are considering a pool heater and or heat pump we have to screen enclousure and pool will get east and west exposure with some trees limiting sun light.

Welcome to TFP!!!

If you can be more specific about the equipment we could offer insight. I think heat pumps generally should work well in FL if you just want to slowly add or maintain heat.

specs. 15X30 with 10X8 beach area 5 1/2 feet deep no water falls and spas we have 4 deck jets pump is a 1.5HP 2 speed filter CS100 Jandy no pool cover plannedd at this time but open to advise. We will like to use the pool 3 to 4 days a week during our cold months Nov thru Feb (coldest weather in Miami)
From what i been reading here a heat pump will be the most cost effective, what brand model and BTU will you recomend

If you want to heat it up quickly and only certain days in the middle of winter, then a heat pump is not going to work.
