Programing Dig-220 with 2-Speed pump

I had another thread on wiring the Dig-220 with a 2-speed pump and got good feedback. I plan on using the pump relay to control high/low speed with the autopilot but using a timer to control on/off periods. My questions deal with how the autopolit controls the programing.

I want to set the timer to run the on/off cycles in low and then just use the autopilot to change pump speed manualy for when I need to vaccum.

To get to this I assume I just set the autopilot as using an exteneral timer in the intial set-up menu. Would that take care of everything? Or am I just better off not using pump relay and installing a seperate switch to control pump speeds?

There installing liner today so any help is greatly appreciated.

drb, if you set up the DIG-220 for 2 speed pump, but do not program the PROG1 or PROG2 timers, you will then use the PUMP button to switch between high speed and low speed.

As an example, would I then just set my timer for 8hrs and experiment with a % on till I get the correct FC? How would boast be affected?

Correct. Boost will only stay on 100% during the timer on cycles. So at 8 hrs/day run times, it will stay on Boost for the next three days.
