CYA Levels for Pool Pilot

This may be a question for Sean,but if anyone else knows please tell.Why do you need (Pool Pilot Website)30-50 CYA level with the Digital Total Control System.There regular digital system requires the normal 60-80 CYA level.Thanks

The ORP sensor, used in the Total Control system, won't work reliably when CYA is above 50. Because of that you need to run at the lower CYA level. This also means that the cell will not last quite as long when using the Total Control system compared to their Digital model.
