Polaris 380 tail stuck in Drain below skimmer

I hope you can help!! The tail of my Polaris 380 is stuck in the drain hole (I guess it is called a drain) located below the skimmer on the wall. The tail is sucked in about 1/2 way. I turned off the filter and tried to pull it out but had no luck. Any suggestions? The pool is cold, but if I have to jump in, I will. :eek:
