Someone give me your experience with using a gizmo.
I have AG 24' pool.

what do you mean exactly? Husband used PVC pipe and some flexible pipe.

A lot of above ground pools use hoses to connect the equipmment instead of permanent plumbing. with hoses most people just unhook the hoses and don't have to worry about using Gizmos, etc..

this is only our second winter to close pool, last winter we lowered the water level below the skimmer and return jets and unhooked the piping also. just trying to figure out how to leave the water level where it is now.

A Gizmo and plug is what you need. Just install them and then unhook and drain the pipes.

One of those rubber plugs for both return jets? I have those but never tried to use because it is so hard to loosen the eyeballs inside the pool and one has a light around it.

Ocean Blue 980015 LED jet light with 3/ colored lenses is what i have over one of the jets, are you familiar with it? and if so, how would that work with the plug?

I'm not familiar with that light but I suspect that a normal winterizing plug won't work with it. Do you have the instructions for it?
