Is there a better way to attach my NE113 steps to my deck? Only one of the 4 holes line up to my deck. The other hole lines up to my pool panel. The space between my Oceanic above ground pool is appropriate as I need just enough space to secure the winter cover. I did drill into my pool panel to help secure my steps; however, I am unhappy as rust shows up around the mounting attachments. I am afraid that just securing the mounting attachments to the deck only is not enough.
