Variable speed only pump

We are looking at a new build. 534 sq ft (max length and width 28' x 21') depth varying from 4- 5.5'. Chlorine. It will have a spa as well as 3 water sheers and a 280 polaris. Pentair Quad cartridge filter.

A 2.5 hp VS Pentair pump has been proposed coupled with a Pentair Easytouch control center to work ALL features. Does this seem reasonable or should we split off each system with its own pump?

Sometimes a single pump can be used if the plumbing system is designed properly but unfortunately in many cases, PBs don't have a clue. But to see if this might be possible in your situation, we need a lot more details about your setup.

Pipe diameter, run lengths and # of runs to each feature/port/etc.

Number of spa jets and flow rate requirement per jet.
