Hayward Aquavac found ball bearings and plastic bits in pool

I run our Hayward Aquavac everynight and this morning I found 8 ball bearings and a number of small plastic nubs in the pool. I restarted the robot (to see if would run) and it just vibrated in place. It looks like I have a repair job in my near future and I wondered if anyone has had experience repairing a Hayward Aquavac or Tigershark?

Re: Hayward Aquavac found ball bearings and plastic bits in

Learned a couple of things today. One don't run the Robot everyday as the bearings will wear out prematurely. Relatively easy to replace the bearing, although a little expensive for what they are ($25 each and I needed four). Also don't leave the robot in the pool when it's not working. Hopefully this isn't the start of a bunch of repairs. Maybe I will replace the bearings on the extra pump I have in the shed, I was going to take it to the dump.
