Summer Escapes skimmer swap.

Hi everybody, New here...

I was wondering if anyone changed the skimmer housing from a summer escapes pool to another one? Generic or Hayward. I was reading somewhere only someone was trying to get a new one from polygroup and it was taking forever. I would like to enjoy this last month with the pool but my pump and skimmer are broken

In this thread people discuss adding a new pump and filter to the summer escapes skimmer. You should be able to replace the skimmer with an above ground pool skimmer, but you may need to make the opening a little larger. Make sure you measure the current opening and look for a skimmer a little larger than the original.

Thanks I will try that this morning. Hopefully I can find something in town and I can get on it right away. Otherwise its up to ebay...
