bubbles coming from return jet

I have noticed bubbles coming from the return. I think it is causing my ph to rise. Dont recall seeing them. Is this normal.

Generally on an AG pool, that is either a restriction in the line from the skimmer, a low water level or a sticking weir.

It's not normal unless you have a swg. Do you see bubbles in the pump basket?

Bubbles in the pump basket means you have a suction side leak somewhere.
Common places are the pump basket lid o-ring. Clean and lube it well.
Skimmer weir sticking. Make sure it's in place and working freely.
Pump drain plug. Remove and reseal it.
Low water level in the pool. Check the skimmer and see if it's creating a vortex when the pump is running. Make sure the water level is 3/4ths up on the skimmer.
