Polaris 360 - can I use the hose like a Polaris 280 does?

Hi all...I have a Polaris 360 cleaner that uses the large diameter corrugated plastic hose, and it seems like it is always springing little pin-hole leaks. We were at a friends today that just had a new pool installed. They have a Polaris 280 cleaner that uses a smaller and heavier hose. Looks like heavy rubber tubing instead of cheap plastic.

Can I retro-fit my 360 to use that same hose?

While they're both pressure side cleaners, you most likely won't get enough flow through the smaller hose to run the 360. The 280 runs at a much higher pressure and lower flow than 360 does.
