Buzzing Hayward Brominator/Chlorinator -- Check Valve?

Hi,

I just installed a brand new CL220BR Hayward Brominator today. I'm guessing this question applies to their chlorinator models too. One thing I noticed is that there is a buzz coming from the thing when the pump is running. Is it possible that the little ball in the check valve is going crazy making this noise? I'm not aware of any other moving "buzzable" parts. If this is the case, is the unit, or at least the check valve, defective?

If you turn it to zero does the buzzing stop?

Yes it does. Sorry for not mentioning that in the original post :/

I'd say that it's the check valve inside the unit then. You can inspect it to make sure there's not a loose spring, etc. in there.
