Pool Pump comparison

I am looking for a comparison between two pumps.
1-Pentair Whisperflo WFDS - 4, a two speed 1 HP. 230 v motor. with built in toggle switch for the 2 speeds.

2-Ecopump EP4 1 HP.

The ecopump people have put together an incredible internet informative program, which may or not be all true! But, nowhere can I find an INDEPENDENT opinion on the ecopump.
My leaning is towards the Pentair unit but the CLAIMED energy savings for the EP4 are impressive.

Any first hand knowledge would be appreciated.
