DE Filter system spraying water like old faithful. Looks like the posi lok ring was not engaged with the safety latch at the time of installation. This is a new install. Any idea how to get the posi lok ring off as it is frozen on as if by pressure but my husbands thinks it may have jumped the threads.

All new filter systems come with a one year warranty you should call the installer or the manufacturer or you could void your warranty if you do further damage
