Pool Bottom

When I clean my pool deck with pressure wash small debri/dirt fell on pool bottom.

I tried vaccum / brush but it wont come off !! It is stuck on the bottom

Is there special brush for this ?

If I go down & do it with hand they come off. So I think they need pressure.

Dirt and debris usually vacuums and brushes up easily.

It sounds more like staining or algae. Is there any green tinge when you scrub them by hand? Is morning CC > 0.5 or overnight FC loss > 1.0?

First step is to figure out if it is an organic stain or a metal stain. Try holding a puck directly on one of the spots and see if it fades or removes it. If so, it is organic, and can be cleaned by raising the chlorine level and a lot of brushing.

Well then what do you mean they will come of "by hand"? Using a brush, a tool, your fingernail? I thought we were talking about debris here.

Sorry for the late reply, I was out of town. I have bird droppings @ bottom of my pool. They are in 8 ft & wont come off with pool brush or pool vac !!

Any tips!!

Bird droppings are not going to stick. Sounds like staining.

There are several articles in Pool School that will get you started learning how to deals with stains. I would suggest to read "The ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry" to get started and then go from there.
