We just filled a 15x36 intex vinyl pool. We filled it about 3/4 of the way as it sloped a bit and it's just to teach my 6 yr old twins to swim. It's been heck trying to get lessons for my twins as there has to be 1 parent per child with every place I have called. Yes, that does make sense but I had hoped to start them when they were just months old :-(

Anyway, I hope this $200 investment (pool, test kit, basic chemical kit) will work as we stumble and bumble through newbie pool ownership! I think of this as a testrun for a bigger and better model!

Looking forward to learning and hopefully one day helping too!

Welcome and congratulations. :-D My only advice at this point is to buy a better test kit. The TF test kit offered through this site or the Taylor k-2006 both come with high recommendations since they can both measure very high levels of chlorine.

Besides that, listen to the experts here and you have sparkling water that is the envy of the entire neighborhood.
