Bucket Test Results

Hi all,

I previously did the bucket test, both pump on and pump off, with resulted in no difference in bucket and pool water loss. That was last week.

Well I did the bucket test again (pump on) just to be sure. Did it from monday 7am to today 7am. 12 hours showed no loss, but after 24 hours there is a 1/16 difference.

Is there a range of discrepancy that is allowable between the bucket and pool that is safe to say there is no leak? Is that 1/16 difference acceptable? Or should I be worried again?

Absolutely. That's too little to worry about.....enjoy your pool.

Thanks Dave,

I needed to hear that from an expert.

Doing a no pump test right now, just in case. Knowing that there is some allowable difference puts my mind at ease somewhat.
