Storing away new INTEX sand filter

I will be closing the pool and hopefully next year i will be getting a larger one.

Just wondering what should i do before storing the filter and the pump for a few months??

( the pool is semi hard plumbed) i have two suction and two return

Does it freeze in Aruba? If not, I wouldn't bother doing anything.

Nope,it's just that the pool has holes everywhere and it's old and i'm not gonna have time to take care of the pool anymore.

We were planning on closing last month but i convinced them to keep it a few weeks more but since school is gonna start this week i'm not gonna have time to maintain it
