I'm just wanting to know if we can use liquid bleach from say walmart to sub for 3" tabs or shock bags?

I cannot find where and if it says we can do this anywhere please point me in the right direction.
We generally suggest use of liquid chlorine / plain bleach instead of dry forms of chlorine, see the pool school link in the upper right for lots more info

Generally bleach is the BEST source of chlorine as it does not have any of the side effects that the solid forms have .... do NOT believe the pool store if they tell you different ... in fact, just stay out of them for anything chemistry related.
Do you have one of the recommended test kits?

I'm sorry i had added that info somewhere and its not showing up.20k gal,ig vinyl,1.5 hp,250lb sand filter.
Then you must not have added it to your signature as decribed in the link I provided. No big deal for now, but could avoid questions in the future.

and if they are out... it buy the GV extra strength.
