I have a salt pool,,,,lately I've started having small salt-like deposits on the bottom of the pool. I live in Fl. and we've had ALOT of rain lately. So its been alittle hard to balance the water out. Anyway,,,I put a packet of shock in today and am now running the pump for at least 12hrs to see if that might help,,,,andy suggestions are much appreicated,,,,Thanks, Bill

It sounds like you need to do a fair bit of reading in Pool School to start to understand the chemistry. One pack of "magic shock powder" and some extra run time is not going to do anything useful.
Deposts could be due to calcium scaling if your pH has been allow to rise unchecked due to the use of a SWG.
