20 Baum Muriatic acid prices

My local Lowes has 20 Baum Muriatic acid for $7.28/ gallon. How does that compare with what everyone out there is paying?

Be careful at Home Depot

The brown box ones are the stronger MA for 2g/$11.98 but the KemTek is a weaker version for 2/$10.98. As you can see the brown box pallet is mixed. You need to look at the box you are buying and not trust the pallet tags. The KemTek is 14.5% . Real pool acid is 31.45% (20 baume)

I always check to make sure it's 31.5%. It's in the brown boxes.

That's about what I pay. Don't get the stuff by kemtec in the pool section. They have full strength in the paint department. Should be made by crown right next to the weaker smart muriatic for the same price.

Here both Lowes and HD only have the weaker stuff in the pool section. The best I can do on 20 baume is Leslie's, 2 gallons for $10.99. It's about the only thing I ever buy at a pool store.

Yep I got 2 gallons of 20 Baum MA at Leslie's for $11.

I guess my HD is different. Those two pallets were within the same aisle, across from each other. Hence the cross stocked pallets.
