Question about TA

This morning I performed a complete test of my water using my TF100. This is the first test since completing the SLAM and passing the OCLT. Readings are:

FC - 8
CC - 0
pH - 7.5
TA - 140
CYA - 50

According to the test kit TA seems abit high. Should I do anything or just maintain for now and keep an eye on it.

You could lower it to 80 - 90 using the acid/aerate as taught in pool school.

Or you could wait and see if your pH tends to drift over time. At 140 TA, I would expect some drift.

I would just keep an eye on the pH and adjust it to 7.2 whenever it gets to above 7.6 or 7.8. The TA will come down to it's happy spot by doing it that way.
