Adding DE to Sand Filter - 1 PSI low vs high speed on pump

I tried searching, but could not.

Most of my major construction is done, my pool is sparkly clear - expect for a ton of tiny debris. My sand filter is doing great, but I want to add DE to get her perfect.

Question is - is the 1 PSI rise on LOW or HIGH. I normally run on low at 2 PSI vs. high at 10 PSI - when adding DE what speed ?

That recommendation was written before the popularity of multi-speed pumps, so it should be on 1 psi rise on high speed.
