real new to the pool world. I have a 16 inch? sand filter w/1hp pump for my above ground pool. which is great I might add. but I had a small drip coming out of the hose on the filter which I fixed but I loosened the drain plug and now the whole plug and all keeps turning round and round (so no seal). can I replace or what? please help! the dog are ready to go swimming.!!! thanks

the actual plug is screwd in but the black nut that is attached to the big grey plastic filter keeps turning. I put some pvc glue on it but in SUNNY fla. it has rained for 30 days?

all I know right now is 3700 GPH 16 sand filter, it is storming outside so I can't go look at it. where do I buy a drain plug? I bought this pump and filter on amazon.com
Once you find out the model, you can look for parts. You can get them online or of it's a common brand the pool store may have them.
