Pentair Power Cell Fuse

I noticed over the weekend when I was done cleaning the filter basket in the pump and restarting the system that my IC-60 SWG was not working. I discovered the fuse in the power cell was blown and am having a difficult time finding a replacement. The manual says it is a 10 AMP slo blo fuse. I have tried the big box stores and a local pool store but everyone has fast acting and not slo blo in 10 AMP 250V per the fuse that was removed. Put a fast acting in to get it back up and running but want to find a slo blo to use the correct part. Anybody know of a good source to find a fuse. Didn't think it would be this difficult.

Also found it curious that my Intellitouch Indoor Control Panel was displaying a Status OK for the SWG when it was not even powered on due to the fuse being blown. I would have thought it would have indicated some type of fault. Does anyone know why that may have occurred?

Did you try a local auto parts store?
How about RadioShack?

Mouser, Allied, Digikey, etc. will have them.

My guess on the status is that the control panel doesn't monitor the cell just the sensor.

Radioshack was my first place to look but they only had 10A 32V slo blo fuses. I'll try a couple auto parts stores and see if I can get lucky.

I got a couple of extras that I bought at Radio Shack when my cell's fuse fried. If you can't find one, let me know, and I'll mail you one.

I ended up having my local hardware store order a couple for me so I would have a spare. Just picked them up yesterday. Thanks for the offer of mailing me one though but I am back in business.

Actually the IC 60 should have a 12amp slow blow not 10

The shipping cost more than the fuses themselves. Others available, those are just first ones I pulled up.

And am I missing something? I don't see where it is listed that the PC100 (P/N 520556) uses a 12A. On page 1 it calls for a 10A and then again on page 10.

The fuse that I removed from the power cell was a 10A/250V not a 12A.

I'm not trying to argue. I am just saying that as far as I can tell their manual calls for a 10A. If they are verbally telling their customers 12A then that is something entirely different. And with that said, in today's age, why can't they update their manual online?

PS - I am considering replacing my SWG with a Pentair, thus my interest.

Any IC 60 that we have placed in service we have had to replace the fuse with the 12 amp. The is more draw with the 60.

I am questioning the manual more than you here.
