TFP has been very helpful in preparing for our pool build. Did you have an above ground there at one time ?

Everything is moving along well at this point. Plumbers came today to do their part before the Gunite. I spent the morning building fence. Actually, I two sided my fence to meet code. We didn't want to turn it around, so I put pickets spaced 1.5 inches on the backside (picture below). Inspector should be here Monday and hopefully we will be ready for Gunite.

Getting closer. :| The guy building the fence is on vacation until Sept 8. No deck inspection until after the fence is built, so it is slowing us down just a little. We are building a wrought iron fence to divide the yard in half; isolating the pool side from the play side. We are going to go over the deck and existing patio with spray deck.

How was it working with your PB? The price on their site seems to good to be true? Do you have any updated pics of your pool?

The Pool builder is a good guy with a good reputation. The basic price he advertises is for less of a pool than most would want. His bid for my pool was the cheapest when you consider all that was included, but not the cheapest by much. My build is costing me in the low 50K range. Had I not liked him and had heard good things about him, I would have gone with a different builder. We are a little behind schedule, but all of his subs have done good work and seem to like him. He has been responsive to my requests, but I typically have to initiate the communication.

They are plastering today :-D I will post some updated pics when they are done.
