Valves Setup Help

Hi!

I am changing my Pump and adding a Salt system & Automation to my pool, so I have decided to change the valves to Jandy-Type valves.

Now, I have looked at several Valve setups online (Picture 1) and they are different than my Setup (Picture 2).

I don't have much space where my Pump Station is.

Any suggestions?

Looks like a 3-way valve at the skimmer and a 3-way valve at the spa would do it.

Just don't forget that even though jandy valves can close in every direction there is one side labeled inlet that the valve doesn't want to turn to unless you loosen the handle knob and lift the handle over the plastic stopper.

As Kevin said ... it is usually better to have the common pipe always attached to the middle port
