Intex hose coupling

Anyone know how big the intex hose coupling is before it turns into flex pvc 1.5 or 2"?

I'm not exactly sure of your question but if you're asking about the threads on the Intex hoses I believe they are an odd size of maybe 40 mm. This may be helpful if you're wanting use Intex hoses with other standard size fittings.

i want to try to cut the part on the hose before it turns in to flex pvc as an adapter and glue on regular pvc

I understand now but unfortunately don't have an answer. This seems to be a popular way to do what you're describing though.

thx for the help.i found out there is a thread here where someone cut of the part from the hose before it turns in too flex pvc and he said that it fits in a regular 1.5" coupling,so tomorrow i'm gonna check it out.

if everything works out i will now have two outlet and two inlet.

Sounds reasonable but I'm not sure regular pvc primer and glue will hold the hose to the pvc pipe. Possibly a two part plastic epoxy may work

i'll have to try it out,anyways it's just the part from the hose where the nut sits and not the whole hose,
